Registrations and Admissions
Admission is open for all classes subject to the availability of seats. Registration for the new session begins in the month of November each year. Enquiries for the Registration will be entertained at the reception counter. Application for registration must be submitted on the prescribed form together with the registration fee (non-refundable). It must be accompanied by a birth certificate duly signed by :-

           The Registrar births and deaths.

Admission will be based on merit. Registration is no guarantee for admission. Original Date of Birth certificate from the Municipal Council verification which is immediately returned to the bearer.

Eligibility

1. A child seeking admission to Pre-nursery should be between 2.5 years and 3 years as on 1^st April of the concerned year and for Nursery 3 yrs onwards.

2. Fresh admission to class XI will be made in April of the concerned year. Only those students of this institution and other institutions will be eligible for admission if they score an aggregate of 65% (for Science Stream) and 60% (for commerce stream) at the Secondary level examination. However, provisional admission will be given to those students of the institution who score 65% and above in Pre-Board examination. Provisional admission for the others will be based on an admission test. However, their admission will be confirmed only after their board result and their subject to qualifying our admission test.
3. Since the number of seats in the school boarding house is limited, preference will be given to those students whose parents/guardians reside in places other than Kapurthala.

 Attendance
80% attendance is compulsory for all the students. However, in board Classes, as laid down in CBSE norms, 75% attendance is compulsory to enable them to take board examination. The school will not be responsible in any circumstances for the shortage of attendance due to parent neglect.

Withdrawals

a)      Three months notice is to be given or three months fees in lieu thereof is to be paid in case a student is to be withdrawn.

b)      A term’s or a term’s total hostel dues in lieu will have to be paid when a boarder is to be withdrawn.

c)      The Principal, in the interest of the school can request the parents to withdraw their child for the following reasons:-

1.      Where in the opinion of the Principal, the child has failed to accept the discipline of the school and his continued presence is detrimental to the interest of the other students of the school.

2.      Where the child fails to come up to the academic standard of the class. This provision is made in the interest of the child so that he may leave the school when he is still young enough to join a school suitable for him.

3.      No refund of tuition fee/annual funds/hostel charges will be given if a student is withdrawn during the session or expelled from the school on disciplinary grounds.
