Morning Assembly
Morning assembly of the school is an assembly with distinction. In the assembly, prayers of all religions are performed. Special assemblies are conducted round the year to celebrate all important days. Prize distribution and birthday celebrations are the integral part of morning assembly.

We have introduced a theme based assembly. Each week a theme is given to particular section, Students of that section present speeches, self-composed poems, and thought for the day related to the theme. G.K. Quiz is conducted everyday to keep the students abreast with the current happenings around them in addition to the rich cultural heritage of our country.

March-Past is conducted twice a week in order to develop the spirit of solidarity and effective turnout of the students. Regular yoga classes are held in the school campus till class XII to help the students cope with the stress of  modern education system.

Academic Schedule and Medium of Instruction 
At M.G.N. the students are motivated to aim high in life and strive hard to achieve it. The students are evaluated not only on the basis of an Annual Examination but under a year long assessment system as well. For KG and Primary section, a comprehensive evaluation system is followed instead of terminal system and it comprises cycle tests and surprise tests. For senior classes there are weekly tests and Terminal Examinations in each subject. The trends in the marks of each student are carefully analysed with the help of latest software.  Post-School Academics

The School has a unique distinction of running its own Mission IIT Medical classes for class X which are innovative and improvised as per the need of the times. For better output of the students, the school runs extra classes for medical and non-medical students. Extra coaching for competitive exams like P.M.T. N.T.S.E, International Assessment Examination, Australia, Erose Scholarship Examination, Mathematics Olympiads, C.E.T. etc. has also been provided to our students to enable them to take competitive entrance exams with greater confidence. These classes are conducted in the after-noon.

Value Education

Value Education is taken up comprehensively through Morning Prayers, assembly, Sangrands and Gurpurb Celebrations and divinity classes & competitions. A very special class called Gurmat-Sikhya is organized daily in the zero period. Besides Sehaj Path is organized as a daily routine in the school Gurdwara. Power Point slides are prepared for presentation on a large screen through projector. CDs on Sikhism are shown and discussed in these classes.

Teachers Orientation Program

Teachers Orientation Program are a regular feature of the school. Every year nearly 8-10 such programs/Seminars are conducted to make the teachers aware of the latest methodologies and changes in the CBSE curriculam.

School Magazine- "THE MONTGOMERIAN"

To peep into the world of innocence, to read the minds of students through their writings, the school brings out a school magazine every year to channelise the students sensibilities through creative writings.

Parent Teacher Meetings                                     

A series of Parent-Teacher meets is held in the school for classes KG to XII. The attendance of the parents is mandatory. The Agenda of the meeting is:- Over all academic progress of the child, Discipline, Turn Out, Attendance, Parents Co-operation and Communication. The class teachers and the subject teachers apprise the parents about their wards performance in the class and how parents co-operation can bring about immense improvement in the academic performance of the child. The parents have close interaction with the Principal and teachers. The meeting is informative and a real eye opener which serves as orientation of the parents in helping their wards to achieve to their full potential. Many valuable suggestions of parents have been followed up and implemented.
