Post-School Academics
The School has a unique distinction of running its own
Mission IIT Medical classes for class X which are innovative and improvised
as per the need of the times. For better output of the students, the school
runs extra classes for medical and non-medical students. Extra coaching for
competitive exams like P.M.T. N.T.S.E, International Assessment Examination,
Australia, Erose Scholarship Examination, Mathematics Olympiads, C.E.T. etc.
has also been provided to our students to enable them to take competitive
entrance exams with greater confidence. These classes are conducted in the
after-noon.
Value Education
Value Education is taken up comprehensively through Morning Prayers,
assembly, Sangrands and Gurpurb Celebrations and divinity classes &
competitions. A very special class called Gurmat-Sikhya is organized daily
in the zero period. Besides Sehaj Path is organized as a daily routine in
the school Gurdwara. Power Point slides are prepared for presentation on a
large screen through projector. CDs on Sikhism are shown and discussed in
these classes.
Teachers Orientation Program
Teachers Orientation Program are a regular feature of the school.
Every year nearly 8-10 such programs/Seminars are conducted to make the
teachers aware of the latest methodologies and changes in the CBSE
curriculam.
School Magazine- "THE
MONTGOMERIAN"
To peep into the world of innocence, to read the minds of
students through their writings, the school brings out a school magazine
every year to channelise the students sensibilities through creative
writings.
Parent Teacher Meetings
A series of Parent-Teacher meets
is held in the school for classes KG to XII. The attendance of the parents
is mandatory. The Agenda of the meeting is:- Over all academic progress of
the child, Discipline, Turn Out, Attendance, Parents Co-operation and
Communication. The class teachers and the subject teachers apprise the
parents about their wards performance in the class and how parents
co-operation can bring about immense improvement in the academic performance
of the child. The parents have close interaction with the Principal and
teachers. The meeting is informative and a real eye opener which serves as
orientation of the parents in helping their wards to achieve to their full
potential. Many valuable suggestions of parents have been followed up and
implemented.
